Brunswick's sidewalk network proves costly, contentious

BRUNSWICK — Anyone in Brunswick who has taken a sidewalk for granted had better take a step back.
The City Council is conflicted about how to maintain sidewalks and get sidewalks built where they are missing, and who should pay for this work.
Settling those questions would suit Jennifer Knowles and Tota Schultz, two mothers who find walking with children around town difficult and hazardous.

Letter of Support

I would like to take a minute and say a few words about Angel White, and why it is important, no, imperative, that she continue on as a member of the Brunswick City Council. I was the vice chair of the Brunswick Economic Commission, and as a member of that group was continuously looking for ways to make Brunswick more attractive to business. I watched as Angel became and stayed a solid voice of reason on the Council.
