Head-Quarters Barber and Styling Salon announces closing; Five Dances Acupuncture expansion
Head-Quarters Barber and Styling Salon, located at 13 West Potomac Street, will close on December 24, 2015 with Five Dances Acupuncture assuming the space.

Angel White, owner of Head-Quarters for the last nine years, stated, “It was a difficult decision to close the company I have worked so hard to build into a thriving and successful business, and I will miss being in business in Brunswick and seeing everyone at the salon. But I’m not going anywhere; I will still be around and engaged in the community.” She added, “New opportunities have presented themselves that allow me more time and energy to enjoy with my family. It is the right time to move forward.”

To continue the economic vitality of Brunswick and the downtown area, Angel was determined to keep the space occupied with another “good fit” for the downtown Main Street location and the needs of the community. Five Dances Acupuncture has been located within Head-Quarters Salon for the last two years and has grown to the point that it needs a space of its own. The location at 13 West Potomac Street was the right answer for the expansion. Samantha Francis, owner of Five Dances Acupuncture, said, “I am very excited to be taking over the space I have shared with Head-Quarters for the past couple of years. With the variety of services we offer, this is the right fit to help fill the needs of the Brunswick area.”

Five Dances Acupuncture offers acupuncture (insurance accepted) and associated wellness services – cupping, aromatherapy, detox foot baths and facial rejuvenation. In partnership with Chrysalis Body and Massage, they will also offer massage, facial services and body wraps.
