Who Am I?
I was raised in Portland, Oregon. I re-located to Maryland in 1996. Brunswick became my family's home in 2005 after visiting the town for Railroad Days. We believed this would be the place we should raise our children and build our lives.
I am the proud mother of two wonderful girls aged 16 and 13. They have so many friends and just love the community that is Brunswick. My husband Steve commutes on the MARC train into Washington, DC to work, just as a large percentage of our residents do. For him, the quiet small-town feel justifies the commute.
When we moved to Brunswick I purchased Head-Quarters Barber and Styling Salon from Master Barber, Karen Gourley. I am proud to continue her legacy here in Brunswick and keep her hard work at building a clientèle here in our town. Due to health issues with a long career in the beauty field I had to make the very hard decision to close that chapter of my life. I am happy to share that Five Dances Acupuncture and Wellness a business that simply started as an incubator with-in Head-Quarters Barber and Styling Salon has grown to the capacity to occupy the same location that Head-Quarters previously occupied. Continuing the legacy in another way. What a wonderful opportunity it is to stay in Historic Downtown Brunswick as a business and support the growth of this beautiful town.
We are proud that our children attend Brunswick schools and community activities. It is very important to me to support the schools and community the most that I can because this is where our future is. We believe in the future of our children and we believe in the future of Brunswick.

While volunteering with several organizations in Brunswick and serving on the Brunswick City Council for the last six years, I am dedicated to our City and wish to continue to serve the citizens of Brunswick on the City Council for another four year term.
